video essay series
Safe Haven
Concept
Safe Haven explores the idea of personal, inner places — familiar, quiet, sometimes imagined. These spaces feel nostalgic but are not tied to real locations. They are built from memory, emotion, and fragments of experience.
Format
Each piece is a short, looped video. All works are silent in terms of language but use sound and music to shape the atmosphere. The glitch is used as a tool of expression — like a brushstroke in painting — to create texture, distortion, and rhythm in the digital space.

The project is about returning. Like a loop, it reflects on the moments we revisit again and again. It’s also about peeling back layers — visual, emotional, digital — to find what sits behind the surface.
• 20 video works • Loop-based structure • No text or dialogue, only sound and image experience • Focus on memory, glitch, and emotional space • Digital glitch as a painterly gesture
